Health Equity Fellowship Program

What is a Health Equity Fellowship Program?

  • 12-month clinical and operational fellowship for cohort of health equity leaders of diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, focused on health equity integration/quality improvement

  • Facilitates a health system health integration, as teams build capacity to focus on health equity integration - identifying and addressing health inequities in patients, health plan and community members

  • Builds capacity to support successful preparation and completion of accreditation reporting i.e., CMS, TJC, WSHA

  • Creates a pipeline of current and future leaders with an understanding of identifying and combatting inequities, developing a workforce to support initiative design, implementation and improvement. This cohort of fellows will serve as an accountable framework to secure long-term integration and sustainability of health equity efforts

  • Provides an application-based curriculum grounded in health equity, quality improvement, project management, coaching and facilitation, and leadership techniques
